Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Consultant Neurologist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. The role involves both outpatient and inpatient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and providing high-quality neurological services. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuropathies, dementia, and neuromuscular diseases. Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and patient assessments. Interpret diagnostic investigations such as MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Manage inpatient and outpatient neurological consultations. Provide emergency neurological care and stroke management when required. Collaborate with physicians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care. Participate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities. Qualifications MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine (or equivalent). DM/DrNB in Neurology from a recognized institution. Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council. Fellowship training in Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, or related subspecialties is an added advantage.
