Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated General Practitioner to join our General Medicine team. The GP will be responsible for providing primary healthcare, managing OPD patients, and handling minor emergencies on a full-time contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Consultation: Examine patients, take medical history, and diagnose common illnesses and injuries
• Treatment & Prescription: Provide appropriate treatment, prescribe medications, and advise on lifestyle management
• Preventive Care: Conduct health checkups, vaccinations, and health education for disease prevention
• Referrals: Refer patients to specialists when needed and coordinate follow-up care
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and updated patient records, case sheets, and prescriptions
• Emergency Care: Handle minor emergencies and provide first-line management before specialist care
• Compliance: Follow clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and medical ethics

Required Qualifications

• Education: MBBS degree from a recognized medical college
• Registration: Valid registration with Medical Council [Kerala State Medical Council / NMC]
• Experience: 0-3 years of experience preferred. Freshers can apply for junior GP roles 
• Willing to work in rotational shifts, including night duties
